Dan Bradshaw has been appointed Associate Vice-Principal (Human Resources) effective December 1, 2016.

?

Prior to that Dan was Interim Associate Vice-Principal (Human Resources) and prior to that appointment was the Director, Faculty Relations and subsequently the Associate Vice-Principal (Faculty Relations) commencing in August 2009.??In that role, Dan served as the University’s main liaison with the Queen’s University Faculty Association and has successfully negotiated two renewal collective agreements with the Faculty Association on behalf of the University.? Dan played key roles in the negotiation and introduction of a conflict resolution service and a limited term retirement incentive program for Faculty Association members; amalgamated the faculty relations, academic compensation and faculty recruitment functions; and negotiated a first collective agreement with the PSAC (representing Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows).???????

Before coming to Queen’s Dan was the Executive Director, Human Resources and Communications at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, where he was responsible for the delivery of a full range of HR services as well as the College’s communications and marketing portfolio.?

Dan is an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and has sat on the Boards of the BC Human Resource Management Association and the Manitoba Theatre for Young People.? He holds a Master of Industrial Relations degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.
