Transportation

bike racks at the JDUC

The traditional North American?mode of transportation, the single occupant automobile, is one of the least efficient, most expensive and environmentally detritus?options available. ?While recognizing that individual circumstance differs in terms?of commuting choices, Queen's is working to encourage other modes of transportation through programs and initiatives designed to remove barriers and facilitate greater uptake of?alternative transportation. ?Key current initiatives include carpooling, car sharing, cycling infrastructure and public transit support.?
